Kristopher A. Brown

Kristopher Brown was admitted to the Jamaican Bar in 2014 and is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Department. He is a recipient of the Governor General’s Achievement Award for the parish of Clarendon for excellence in leadership, community service and academics.  Kristopher has a passion for helping others and has formed mentorship programmes to assist students in their academic development. He does significant work with the Rotary Club of New Kingston and participates in other various community outreach programmes in Kingston and Clarendon. Kristopher has lectured CAPE Law at the Pre-University School (Pre-UWI) and is a past member of the Jamaica Youth Chorale and the University of the West Indies Chorale.
Kristopher graduated from the University of the West Indies with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Hons). He later obtained his Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley Law School and holds a Certificate in Copyright Law from the Harvard Law School.  While at the Norman Manley Law School, Kristopher was an executive member of various committees and upon completion, he received the Richard Wayne Lee Memorial Prize for his involvement in students’ activities, student welfare, and interest in the Law School. 
Kristopher’s areas of practice include civil and commercial litigation, family law, sports law, employment law and industrial relations.
